I paint faces that remember where they come from.

I'm Nour — a Tunisian painter and line artist based in Tunis. My work is about how I see the world: faces, personas, and the quiet stories behind them. Bold line, distilled form, North African identity — I make visuals that carry weight.

Tilal Utique.

A gathering of artists from across the Arab world — painters, photographers, poets, dancers — in the ancient countryside of Utique, Tunisia. Supported by the Kamal Laazar Foundation, Tilal was a space to make work, exchange ideas, and simply exist together in a landscape that holds centuries of memory.

I've always told stories through faces and lines — 404 was my way of asking: what does a story sound like? Follow Farida through a world that is strange, tender, and very Tunisian. An adventure told in voices, the way my paintings are told in colour.
